Under $15, Poshmark takes a flat $2.95 — not a percentage. At $15 and above, it's 20% on the item price only. The cutoff catches resellers who price at $12 to move inventory fast.

The awkward questions
Why is my effective fee rate so high on cheap items?
The $2.95 flat fee is the same whether you sell for $5 or $14. On a $10 item that's nearly 30%. Price at $15 or bundle items if the math doesn't work.
Is commission charged on shipping?
No. Poshmark's fee is on the item price only. The buyer pays shipping separately and Poshmark supplies the prepaid label from its cut.
What about Poshmark shipping discounts I offer?
Seller-funded shipping discounts come out of your payout but aren't part of the commission calculation. This calculator doesn't model those — subtract them from your profit manually.
