Fiverr fee calculator
Fiverr takes 20% of every order — not from the tip, but from the order itself. See what lands in your Fiverr balance before you accept the gig.
Fiverr's fees, and the date we last looked
Fees move. When they do, this table changes and the change gets logged — that's the whole maintenance promise, and it's why the number above is worth more than a two-year-old blog post.
| Fee | Rate | Charged on | Changed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Service fee | 20% | Order subtotal — buyer also pays a separate service fee | Unchanged |
| Payment processing | Included | No separate seller processing fee on standard orders | Unchanged |
| Withdrawal | $0–$3 | Bank transfer timing — not in this calculator | Varies |
The awkward questions
Does Fiverr take 20% of tips too?
No. Fiverr's 20% service fee applies to the order price, not tips. Tips go to you in full — but they're still subject to whatever tax rules apply to you.
What about Fiverr Pro or promoted gigs?
Promoted gig costs are advertising spend, not a per-order fee. This calculator models the standard 20% on the order total only.
We'll tell you when Fiverr changes its fees.
Platforms change their cut quietly and you find out from a smaller payout. Pick the ones you sell on and you'll get one short email when a rate actually moves — what changed, and what it costs you per sale. Nothing else. No newsletter.
Roughly six emails a year, because that's roughly how often these fees move. Unsubscribe link in every one.
